Good morning Bulldogs Families! I hope everyone is safe and healthy!
I wanted to send a quick update based on some new information that has come our way over the past couple days. As I have stated before, we always have the health and well being of all of our Bulldogs players and families at the forefront of our thoughts and there have been a few changes as we head into the Spring season. I am sure most of you have heard that President Trump extended the national social distancing guidelines/mandates until April 30th. Also, yesterday, we received word from the Park District that our fields will not officially open until May 1st. With this in mind, we will need to push back the start of our Spring seasons until at least May 1st and League Presidents are working hard to put together a practice and game schedule with this new target date in mind.
I know all of us are frustrated with our Spring season being pushed back a little further, but have no fear, as I have said before there WILL be Baseball and Softball and we WILL be back on our fields very soon. Sure, this season will be a little different than in previous years, but there is no doubt in my mind that all of our players will have a great season once we are all given the green light to get back out on the fields. We will make some adjustments to events that would have happened in April (Raffle Ticket Turn in, Team Pictures, Opening Day, etc...) but we will find a way to work these into the season once we get going and make these events as special as we always have.
The health and safety of all our Bulldogs is our number one concern. We ALL miss Baseball and Softball terribly, and we ALL could use it right now. Have faith Bulldogs....it is coming soon! Let us all stand together, support each other during these times, and be the STRONG and UNIFIED group that separates us from all other organizations! WE ARE BULLDOGS....and we will hear the words PLAY BALL very soon!
We miss you all and will see you all very soon!
2020 SPRING REGISTRATIONS ARE OPEN
BASEBALL & SOFTBALL
The Bulldogs have been teaching youths the game of baseball since 1961. We offer In-House Programs in addition to Travel Programs for both Baseball & Softball. Our organization is widely recognized as being highly successful. We have had many Bulldog players contribute greatly to the success of area high schools and also play ball at the collegiate and professional levels. The Bulldogs Baseball and Softball league is a community based program in Tinley Park, Illinois whose mission is to provide boys and girls, ages 4-29 the opportunity to play at the child’s highest level possible and learn the value of sportsmanship, attitude, commitment, pride and self worth through the playing of baseball or softball.
